DataNet Telecom is proud to collaborate with O3B Networks, a pioneer in satellite internet technology that connects regions with limited or no terrestrial broadband access. O3B’s network consists of a set of Medium Earth Orbit (MEO) satellites, positioned closer to Earth than traditional satellites, enabling faster and more reliable internet services. By orbiting at ~8,000 kilometers above the Earth, O3B satellites reduce the delay commonly associated with satellite internet, providing performance closer to fiber-optic networks. This proximity enhances user experience, making it suitable for applications requiring low latency and high data speeds.

Reliable point-to-point connections are established using leading telecommunications equipment such as Trango and UbiQuiti. Collaboration with licensed fiber providers across Iraq enables extensive coverage, supported by an integrated network of towers located with PSTN government sites. Backup links ensure service continuity, while efforts are underway to secure approvals for operating on licensed frequencies to enhance network performance and reliability
